Is the Catholic Church responsible for AIDS in Africa?

Apparently an Arch-atheist Richard Dawkins made this statement "the Catholic Church was in the running for the major institution that most deserves the title of greatest force for evil in the world.”


Over at Shameless Popery, they decided to look morre deeply into this issue using their own somewhat interesting analysis to come to a conclusion. It's an interesting post with lots of graphs and references to other sources.
