Decio Lourenco, a 24 year old South African set off a speed camera on his skate board in a 60kph (37mph) zone in a video clip that has attracted more than 400,000 views on YouTube.
The South African authorities are, however, not amused. TheSouth African skate board freak has been told he will be prosected for reckless and negligent road behaviour for the stunt which was filmed on the 20th of January by a friend who had a camera attached to his car bumper. The South African skate boarder said he had previously achieved speeds of between 70-80km/h without triggering the camera on his skate board.
Dangerous no doubt given this was all done on a public road, but surely don’t the South African authorities have real criminals to after?
