A few months ago we featured Goldie Harvey describing her as “an energetic stage performer, who has several Award Nominations to her name and a few ground breaking videos such as ‘Komole’, ‘Spin Me’, ‘Shift’ and ‘Nothing Has Changed’”
It is with sadness that we bring you this announcement from her management team posted on her facebook page:
“It is with heavy heart that I have to inform you all that Goldie passed this night shortly after arriving Lagos from LA. May her soul rest in the eternal peace of the Lord – Admin!!”
Details of her demise are sketchy but reports suggest she collapsed and passed away in Lagos.
The singer and former big brother star was reported to have arrived back to her home country after attending the 2013 Grammy awards ceremony in the United States. The singer whose birth name was Susan Oluwabimpe Harvey was 29 years old.
