Ideas and Projects: The Mobius Car revisited
We featured the The Kenyan made Mobius One car or SUV a few months ago. In that post – Could this car transform transportation in Africa? – we stated that the Mobius idea seemed like a good idea borne out of a need to help make life a little easier for people who have to travel for miles on foot to “access basic life supplies and services such clean drinking water, farming inputs, schools, hospitals and jobs.”
The company has unveiled the Mobius 2 seen in the videos below alongside a couple of other promotional videos.
It is fair to state that the Mobius Car will not be winning many awards for its aesthetics or design. However, at $6000.00 and a unique selling point that plays on the car’s durability on highly degraded roads the Mobius might just turn out to be the car of choice for some.
