One of the most haunting trials of a young man killed on the streets of London for being black came to an end today when Gary Dobson and David Norris were both found guilty. The murder of Stephen Lawrence in 1993 shocked the United Kingdom and led to much needed soul searching about race relations in the UK. Stephen Lawrence had wanted to become an architect. Today his family, after 18 years of legal wrangling have finally received justice for the murder of their son.
