A Ghanaian Dance Craze called Azonto continues to capture the imagination of people around the world and seems to have spawned its own YouTube dance craze industry as dance enthusiasts and celebreties try to out do each on various videos of themselves doing the dance. The most famous of all the videos and perhaps the most unusual given its star is not Ghanaian or African is that by a “White Boy” on London’s Oxford street.

The video has in just a few hours of being posted garnered a whopping 150,000 hits on YouTube. The twitter hashtag #Azonto has been just as lively with lots of people asking how they could learn some of the dance moves and dance steps.
