Babatunde Styles is the name of this label! The founder, Gareth Cowden who is described as a “fashion stylist and traveller” could not have chosen a better name. It’s descriptive and there is something very “African” about it. Babatunde translated from Yoruba into English means “The father returns” and the label “looks at embracing what is truly African and promoting strong family values.”

The designs espouse a degree of swagger and attitude that I love. There are three main elements to Babatunde Styles. The Clutches are featured below but I also suggest you take a look at the Babatunde Caps and my favourite the Babatunde Umbrellas.
