Americn R&B superstar is reported to have signed three of Nigeria’s music stars, Tuface Idibia, Wizkid, and P-Square duo to his Konvict Music label. Konvict Music label is jointly owned by Melvin Brown and the Senegalese born American, Akon. Artists signed to the label include Lady Gaga and T-Pain is said to have released three albums under the label. No official announcement has been made yet.
If true, this comes 6 months after Kanye West signed two of Africa’s most popular artists D’Banj and Don Jazzy to his G.O.O.D music imprint.
Interest in that partnership set social media abuzz and for good reason.
