Die Antwoord aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. Their latest self released single “FOK JULLE NAAIERS” is full of slurs, some of which may be interpreted as either a parody of homosexuality or straight up homophobia. Take your pick. There is also a bizzarre reference to Mike Tyson and in true Die Antwood style lots and lots of “F” you-s. In some ways its good to know South Africa is not full of benign Nobel Prize winners with years staring at the 4 walls of a jail. That country has some pretty gritty and extremely “pissed off” folks.
