MOBO Awards: Best African Act goes to Wizkid!

Nigeria’s coolest super star, Wizkid has won in the Best African category at the “Music of Black Origin” – MOBO Awards. The arttist who is rapidly becoming an international star has also been nominated for the MTV Europe Music Awards - EMA’s in the  “World Wide Act” category. Other winners on the night include:

Best Hip Hop / Grime Act – Tinie Tempah

Best Video- Tinchy Stryder And Dappy (Spaceship)

Best International Act- Rihanna

Best Song In Association With PRS For Music- Jessie J (Do it like a dude)

Best Album – Jessie J (Who You Are)

Best Reggae – Alborosie

Best Jazz Act- Kairos 4tet

Best African Act – Wizkid

Best Gospel Act – Triple O

Best R&B / Soul Act – Adele

Outsanding Contribution To Music – Boyz II Men
