MC Hammer unveils WIREDoo, a search engine with a “deep search”

MC Hammer the rapper and one time bankrupt entertainer seems to have decided to take his mini investments in various tech start ups to the next level. He announced plans for a Google rival at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco aptly called WIREDoo. The site is still in its beta but he described it as going “beyond the keywords” for what he called a “deep search” or “relationship search”. He added “For example a search of the word ‘car’ might also come with the relationships to insurance, cost, specs, mileage, and who the driver will be,”. “A search for ‘home’ might also include relationships to community, schools, financing, insurance and so on.”
