The Double Steps is a Spanish film, shot in Mali. The film which highlights the work of Francois Augieras, a French painter who spent much of his life working in Mali won top prize at the San Sebastian Film Festival in northern Spain in September 2011.
Los pasos dobles tells the story of Spanish artist Miquel Barcelo’s search for paintings apparently hidden in a bunker in Mali. It is part documentary and part film.
