100,000 strong South African Taxi Drivers launch new budget Airline

This is what the business development officer, Nkululeko Buthelezi for the Taxi Union had to say, at a press conference in Johannesburg:

I can see some of you rolling your eyes because of how our taxi drivers drive. I can assure you we won’t allow our taxi drivers to drive [the planes],

The new airline called, Santaco Airlines, officially launched Sept. 16, and is scheduled to begin operating flights by November 2011.
