although i believe that youve given a valid sugestion i think its somewhat flored, the PM and home sec cancled their holiday BEFORE the riots in the more “wealthy” areas. and its useless simply pointing fingers at bankers and having a good old moan because it simply doesnt change the fact that we are in what now looks to be a double dip resesion . btw bankers didnt cause the resision it was a colapse in the derivative market that was enevitable, if we didnt have a derivative market there would have been a credit crises much sooner.

@ Mohammed: I don’t think that’s quite fair, the people calling for the army and greater force being employed on London streets aren’t necessarily the same who supported UN intervention in Libya, equally where the assessment of social networking sites etc. is concerned … what you’re right what we all could do with is a little more introspection by those calling unrest in other countries simply uncivilised etc. – but then, those are the same kind of people whose analysis of what’s going on in London currently doesn’t go beyond calling names and resorting to stereotyping whole groups either …

2/3rd of the cabinet are also millionaires. They have no problem paying for their children to attend the best schools through to paying for university fees. Some of these kids may be bright, but if they can’t afford to pay their way through the best quality education system then that entire generation is being lost! That is what happens when privately educated politicians and billionaires develop policies that phase out FREE university education etc.

all youve done in the first sentence is listed all the posible causes you could think of in the hope that one of them is right. ask your self this, why is there youth criminality? why is there a lack of comunication between a marginalised youth and “socioty”? why is there Parental irresponsibillity? because if your born into an east london council estate you and your kids and your grand kids are going to die there with little or no chance of escape. we need meritocricy. we need selective schooling.
