The bible makes us to understand that he was simple and humble.this same pastor slapped a girl just for saying and i quote “i’m a witch for Jesus”. how wrong is that. had it being here in the UK, he would have been in hot waters just for doing that. Only God knows who his true servants are. neither of us can see his (oyedepo’s) true intents but being a rational person, for me, the logic here is simple. Hi Dare.I’m completely (I mean 3billion %) with you.80%
of Nigerians live with less than £2 a day and you see these so-called pastors
living in luxury. this drives me crazy. It is utter madness. It takes almost a
hundred thousand naira (if not more) to have a jet tucked away in the hanger
FOR A DAY.this is money that can be spent on improving the lives of the poor. Don’t
tell me majority of his (oyedepo’s) members are financially ok! Majority of
their (all churches) earnings come from the poorest of the poor. Why can’t he
travel on a normal plane and at most book a business-class ticket? Some of
these churches have got universities in Nigeria. How many of its members can
boost of being comfortable with paying the tuition fees. Don’t get me wrong; I
was born into a Christian family and was made to believe a lot of trash. He (David
oyedepo) might be a true man of God but his life style is definitely
questionable. Some ignorant people just jump on their laptops and type out disturbing
messages and I feel so sorry for most Nigerians. This religion (Christianity/Islam)
thing has completely erased our ability to reason logically. I can go on and on
with this but I’ve had enough of some of these selfish pastors. God will bless
you if you pray to HIM (not worship your pastors/imams), study hard and work
hard. Nigerians believe a lot in miracles rather than in hard work and probably
miracles. Believing in miracles alone makes us VERY prone to this type of
thieving. i got sent this link from my brother and it’s about churches in
Nigeria. God has given us the power to be able think..USE IT WISELY…and for those of you who accidentally or knowingly happen to read this, don’t come hating. just be rational and open-minded.
