‘Nigeria – Africa’s next super power?’ is the subject of the latest in the series of Guardian/British Museum debates, which takes place on Tuesday 8th June. Members are being offered reduced price tickets.
The event will be chaired by Jon Snow, writer and broadcaster and introduced by Neil McGregor, director of the British Museum (London). The speakers will include Father Matthew Kukah, Partish Priest of Kaduna, Nigeria, Dr Abdul Raufu Mustapha, Lecturer in African Politics, University of Oxford, and Chika Unigwa, writer.
Guests are also invited to a private view of Kingdom of Ife: Sculptures from West Africa.
